Laptop Stand

Hey everyone! It's been a little while since my last post and here's a new project for you to check out. I have a couple of other smaller ones to finish up and will post them here as soon as I'm finished. I made a laptop stand out of some for 2x4 scraps I had. This project was for a good friend of mine that asked me for this a very long time ago. One day I sat down and drew out the design, made a template and was set on finishing it. This project took A LOT of tinkering to figure out the process but it turned out great in the end!

I cut them using a jig saw, drill press and eventually scroll saw. I cut the first one as close to perfect and then glued and shaped subsequent layers to match the original one. Lots of sanding but with a spindle and belt sander it didn't take too long after a few layers.
