2/11/2015 0 Comments Cuttingboards! Finally!Hi everyone! I have made a couple of matching side grain cutting boards out of Maple with a really awesome looking walnut burl strip. I'm really liking the offset lines in wood projects lately. They are about 16" long by 9.5" wide with a hole in the corner with a routed edge on all sides. I applied three coats of Watco Butcher Block oil to the surfaces as the are going to be written on as a gift. I will put one more coat of oil on these after the marker has been applied. I really like the way these turned out I hope you do too! I will post versions of these to order on my Etsy site soon!
